A comforting dessert, without the fat!
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 220oC, 425oF or gas mark 7.
- Arrange the bananas in a shallow dish, in which they just fit, and drizzle the honey over them.
- Pour in the juices, scatter knobs of butter* over the bananas, add the cardamom pods and finally sprinkle with the cinnamon.
- Bake for 25 minutes, basting halfway.
- Serve with a little Greek yoghurt* or ice-cream* for an added treat!
