The last official month of summer where the children enjoy the time off of school and many people enjoy their summer holidays. With weather continuing to bring us warmth and a vast selection of fruits and vegetables, why not enjoy this month's food with a picnic! 

 

Vegetables

Artichoke, aubergine, beetroot, broad beans, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery, courgettes, cucumber, curly lettuce, fennel, french beans, iceburg lettuce, leeks, curly lettuce, mangetout, marrow, onions, peas, peppers (capsicum), potatoes (maincrop), radishes, red cabbage, rocket, runner beans, savoy cabbage, sorrel, spinach, spring green cabbage, sweetcorn, and watercress
